RÉSUMÉ : In this talk, we address a robust approach for the assembly line balancing problem with heterogeneous workers. This study can be useful in sheltered work centers for disabled or even in conventional assembly lines, in which the workforce is composed by « standard » and disabled workers. In these contexts, task times are worker-dependent and also, there are some incompatibilities task/worker. We deal with the variability of task execution times under an unknown probability distribution, minimizing the number of workstations. We propose two mathematical models and a constructive heuristic. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
